Rachel Spencer-Henshall

Director of Public Health, Kirklees Council

Rachel has been the Director for Public Health in Kirklees since April 2015. She leads a team of public health staff who passionately care about improving health and reducing inequalities. She is committed to working in partnership and believe that building good strong relationships is the key to kind and effective leadership. In April 2017, her portfolio increased and she is now the Strategic Director for Corporate Strategy and Resources for the Council.

 In her spare time she enjoys walking and cooking, as well as being a first time mum to her son Leo.
