Yorkshire and Humber Public Health Network

This Health Care Public Health CPD event will be primarily targeted at professionals working in healthcare public health roles within Local Authorities, NHS/CCGs and PHE, but will be relevant to other colleagues concerned with improving population health.

The meeting has been designed following consultation on key issues with colleagues across Y&H. It will feature speakers working within a variety of healthcare and local government settings and include updates, case studies, discussion and short workshop sessions. These will cover:

• Population Health Management (what is it?Opportunities for public health)

• Working within Integrated Care & STP structures (skills required, what’s our role?)

• Healthcare public health skills for 2018 and beyond (within the NHS 10yr plan, maintaining a focus on health inequalities)

• Taking this CPD network forward (our future priorities?)
