Post vacancy: Chief Officer/Consultant in Public Health - Leeds City Council

Leeds City Council and Transforming Leeds are looking to appoint to a Chief Officer/Consultant in Public Health post to be part of a dynamic, collaborative and well regarded public health team.

They are seeking strategic leaders who will drive improved health and wellbeing within Leeds communities, with a relentless focus on reducing inequalities.

In addition to working across Leeds City Council as a public health organisation, this role requires excellent relationships and joint working with Leeds CCG, other NHS partners, Public Health England, community and private sector organisation. The role will also have the lead responsibility for Public Mental Health and CCG Strategic Commissioning.

This is a great opportunity to further your career in a large core city, with a population of nearly 800,000 but where over 170,000 people are ranked in the most deprived 10% nationally. The salary on offer is £81,713 to £89,884.
