The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact across population groups globally, nationally and locally. The effects of the pandemic have mirrored, and in some cases exacerbated, our entrenched health and social inequalities.

This event, the first in the Building Back Fairer webinar series, will provide an opportunity to talk about the impact of food, income and energy insecurity on the poorest in our society. Colleagues working in primary and secondary care, who will often observe the health impact of health inequalities through an increased demand for health and care services, are encouraged to take part.
