Y&H Dual Diagnosis Forum 13-03-23
This regional forum was set up in Yorkshire and the Humber in 2022 to focus on co-occurring mental health and alcohol and/or drug use conditions. It is an opportunity to bring partners together from across the region to hear the latest updates on National policy, share current developments in both mental health and substance misuse services and share regional examples of innovative practice that is being delivered by a range of organisations in this region.
In our March meeting we were lucky enough to welcome Professor Dame Carol Black, Independent Adviser to the Government on combatting misuse of drugs and Will Haydock, Local Systems Lead at the Joint Combating Drugs Unit.
This forum will be of interest to Substance Misuse Services, Mental Health Services, Local Public Health Teams, Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Integrated Care Systems, Regional Police Forces and Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations.
