A webinar for primary care practitioners to support the needs of asylum seekers and other migrants in vulnerable circumstances across NE and YH

Background

  • Across the region work has been done to support primary care practitioners working with migrants in vulnerable circumstances. This includes:
  • A flowchart which details roles and responsibilities and communications regarding meeting the health needs of asylum seekers. 
  • A new process for sharing information about asylum seekers moving in/out of the area to support primary care to carry out initial health assessments and ongoing support.
  • An enhanced health assessment for vulnerable migrants template that is now available on SystmOne.
