Since the establishment of the Global Burden of Disease Studies by the World Health Organisation the definition of health has been changing. This shift from viewing health as a complete mental, physical, psychological and social feeling of wellbeing, rather than a loss of welfare has changed the view of health, having important implications for employers and employees - World Health Organization(WHO) Definition Of Health - Public Health.
