Webinar focused on people with learning disabilities - 11 February

Webinar recording and presentations from the The Yorkshire and Humber Health Inequalities Covid-19 Network - (11 February 2021).  This webinar focused on people with learning disabilities. A disparity in health and wellbeing outcomes within these populations has existed for a long time; Covid-19 and its response have not only highlighted these health inequalities but have widened them as well.

The aim of this meeting was to look at these inequalities and what local partners across the health and care spectrum can do, on a practical level, to address the direct and indirect impacts of Covid on those with Learning Disabilities across our region.

The VCS and Lived Experience perspective - Karen Parry, Inclusion North with Becki Parker (self-advocate), Dawn Flockton (self-advocate) and Kay Kirk (family carer)
