Y&H ADPH Climate and Health Narrative - resource for DPH's and teams
Human health goes hand in hand with the planet’s health. But right now society’s actions are hurting our health and the planet. We have it within our power to change the things that will make the most difference.
Action on climate change and a just transition to a low carbon, cleaner energy future, provides one of the greatest opportunities to improve health and reduce inequalities. Too often we view action on climate as restrictive and a sacrifice.
We have developed a local Climate and Health Narrative resource aimed for Directors of Public Health, their teams and partners to use and support them. The Climate narrative focuses on climate and health, adaption, mitigation, with communities and health inequalities running through the resource.
